This is the story of how our Tiny Cubs grade, which nurtures and guides children starting at 18 months of age, came to be. The youngest members of our lion pride have taught us a lot and have driven change in a positive way at Colegio Colombo Británico.

"Tenemos Voz", se construye sobre varias verdades CCB que han sido corroboradas por los miembros de nuestra Comunidad -alumnos, padres, exalumnos y personal- a lo largo del tiempo. En este colegio aprendes a decir lo que piensas, con argumentos y con respeto. Desarrollas tu propia voz, tus propias opiniones y perspectivas mientras escuchas las opiniones de los demás en un diálogo enriquecedor y constante. Somos una comunidad de librepensadores unidos por un corazón, nuestro Corazón Colombo, que salimos al mundo y nos esforzamos por marcar la diferencia. Juntas, nuestras voces se convierten en una fuerza poderosa.

Since the end of July, eight students of the IB Career Related Programme (CP), started their classes at Universidad Icesi in Medicine and Administration and Economics.

With the aim of continuing to fulfil our motto, “We Unite Peoples and Cultures Through Education” and to maintain, strengthen and expand our experiential learning programme, “GoBeyond – Step into the unknown”, our Headmaster, Nick Reeves, has been making a series of visits to various schools in South Africa and the United States over the past few months.
These institutions align with our vision as world schools – some are even part of Round Square, like us – and are potential partners to expand our two-way school exchange programmes.

Daniela Estrada Lasso, together with her Club Ciudad de Cali, won the title of Pan American Artistic Swimming Champions, in the ‘PanAm Aquatics’ competition that took place in Lima, Peru.
4 gold medals in finswimming for our teacher, Gloria Tapié
Our swimming teacher, Gloria Patricia Tapié Guerrero, won four gold medals with Club Marlin, in the XIV version of the Colombia 2024 Finswimming Cup.
Alejandro Solís takes bronze in the Interleague Squash Championship
Alejandro Solis (9B), won the bronze medal with the Valle team after beating Bogota in doubles in the National Interleague Squash Championship.
Jacobo takes bronze in Club Campestre’s Squash Tournament
Jacobo Robledo from sixth grade, managed to win the bronze medal at the Club Campestre de Cali Internal Squash Tournament, which took place on the 24th of August.

FARYD CAMILO MONDRAGÓN, PROMOCIÓN 1991
Futbolista profesional que jugó como portero de la selección colombiana y consiguió records en los mundiales. Es una persona que representa la voz del deporte en nuestra colegio y es un referente para todos nuestros estudiantes.
JOSÉ MANUEL SUSO, PROMOCIÓN 1981
Ingeniero Industrial, empresario y CEO de Arrocera la Esmeralda SAS. Es una persona que representa la voz de la empresa, la responsabilidad social y la generosidad. Un ejemplo para los estudiantes que quieren ser empresarios y hacer un impacto positivo del medio ambiente.
MARÍA CONSUELO DÍAZ, PROMOCIÓN DE 1963
Miembro de la primera promoción de CCB, ex profesora, ex jefa de sección, ex directora de CCB (1993-2000), fundadora de la Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos y actual miembro de la junta directiva de la Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos, es una persona que representa la voz de la tradición, un ejemplo para preservar el legado de nuestra institución.
