With the aim of continuing to fulfil our motto, “We Unite Peoples and Cultures Through Education” and to maintain, strengthen and expand our experiential learning programme, “GoBeyond – Step into the unknown”, our Headmaster, Nick Reeves, has been making a series of visits to various schools in South Africa and the United States over the past few months.
These institutions align with our vision as world schools – some are even part of Round Square, like us – and are potential partners to expand our two-way school exchange programmes.
“I have been meeting with heads and representatives of schools with the aim of expanding our exchange programme. In the case of South Africa, most of the institutions are members of Round Square, offer boarding accommodation and are considered among the best in the country. I look forward to sharing more news about my visit upon my return to school on September 9,” said Mr. Reeves.
During these months, our Headmaster has managed to visit:
USA
- The Athenian School, California
- Silicon Valley International School, California
- Dunn School, California
- Cate School, California
- Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, California
South Africa
- Bridge House School in Franschhoek, South Africa
- St. Cyprian’s School, Cape Town
- Woodridge College and Preparatory School, Port Elizabeth
- Thomas More College, Durban
- Durban Girls’ College, Durban
- Clifton College, Durban
- Clifton Nottingham Road, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Michaelhouse, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Hilton College, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- St. Anne’s Diocesan College, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Dainfern College, Johannesburg
In one of these visits, our Headmaster even had a very special reunion with two students from Durban Girls’ College, Khanyi Brauns and Erin Moodley, who were with us last year.
And although the trip is not yet over, these visits forge strong bonds between schools and open up new opportunities for our students to learn about new cultures and experience life beyond their comfort zones, pushing them to their limits and confronting the unknown. This is the essence of our experiential education programme “GoBeyond, Step into the unknown”.

EEUU
- The Athenian School, California
- Silicon Valley International School, California
- Dunn School, California
- Cate School, California
- Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, California
Sudáfrica
- Bridge House School en Franschhoek, Sudáfrica
- St. Cyprian’s School, Cape Town
- Woodridge College and Preparatory School, Port Elizabeth
- Thomas More College, Durban
- Durban Girls College, Durban
- Clifton College, Durban
- Clifton Nottingham Road, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Michaelhouse, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Hilton College, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- St. Anne’s Diocesan College, Midlands, Kwa-Zulu Natal
- Dainfern College, Johannesburg
La esencia de nuestro programa “GoBeyond, Step into the unknown”.
