On august 21st the 2A student, Samuel Arciniegas Restrepo went to the 10K race at the Cali Zoo. The event was held by 3000 thousand people, where participants could walk, jog or run. The competitors were able to appreciate the local nature and animals while running the course.

Two years ago he started running and since then he has been very passionate about going to races because it makes him feel free and happy. Samuel told us about his competition in the race “It was awesome, I felt so good when I won. I won a medal and  a prize for baking cup cakes” mentioned Samuel. 

He’s favourite football player is Cristiano Ronaldo and he dreams to become a football player too. 

Congratulations Samuel for winning your medal and the prize. Keep running. 


El día 21 de agosto, el estudiante de 2A Samuel Arciniegas Restrepo se presentó en la carrera de 10K en el Zoológico de Cali. El evento contó con 3000 mil personas, en donde los participantes podían caminar, trotar o correr. Así mismo, los competidores apreciaban la naturaleza y los animales del lugar mientras realizaban la carrera.

Hace dos años empezó a correr y desde ese entonces le apasiona mucho ir a carreras ya que lo hace sentir libre y feliz. Samuel nos contó como fue su competencia en la carrera “estuvo muy chevere, me sentí muy bien cuando gané. Me gane una medalla y un premio para hacer pasteles” comentó Samuel. 

Su deportista favorito es Cristiano Ronaldo y sueña convertirse en un gran futbolista algún día.

Felicidades Samuel por tu medalla y tu premio. Sigue corriendo.
