On October 18, our alumnus Jorge Cadavid Alvear (Class of 1990) launched his novel, “IN FÁBULA: A Project of Alchemy”. The novel explores the “initiatory, personal, and artistic journey of a man who takes on the challenge of changing the world for the sake of the woman he loves. It is also a strategy to ensure that the deep and mutual love between Carlos and Rosa has a chance of becoming a reality, despite the forces that seek to keep them apart.” as can be read in the back cover synopsis.
“IN FÁBULA” is born as an homage to women as the essence of life, creating a symbolic universe where art and advertising converge in a dialogue between two worlds. It is a song of hope for love, history, and humanity.
Jorge, congratulations on this new milestone in your literary career! As a community, we are incredibly proud of your achievements and delighted to share them with others.

El 18 de octubre, nuestro exalumno Jorge Cadavid Alvear (prom 1990), lanzó su novela “IN FÁBULA, Un proyecto de alquimia”, la cual trata del “viaje iniciático, personal y artístico de un hombre que asume el reto de cambiar el mundo en virtud de la mujer que ama. También es la estrategia para que la consolidación del sentimiento profundo y correspondido entre Carlos y Rosa tenga alguna posibilidad de ser una realidad que se esfuerza en separarlos.
IN FÁBULA nace como canto a la mujer que es la vida, creando un universo simbólico donde arte y publicidad se conjugan en un diálogo entre dos mundos. Es un canto de esperanza al amor, a la historia y a la humanidad”.
